Login to STU-VIEW to see descriptions of the hold. Please see the list below for whom to contact regarding how to address the hold:
The following holds will prevent registration. Financial & material holds will prevent the release of transcripts or any other official college documents (enrollment letters, diplomas, etc.).
- AB, AC, AD, PL, RP, ST, SU (Academic Holds) - Please see your Academic Program Office.
- AR, CT, FE, WO (Finance Holds) - Please contact the Accounts Receivable office email: accountsreceivable@georgebrown.ca
- LF (Library Fines) - Please see a Customer Service Representatives at the Library Learning Commons.
- MS, RE (Registrar's Hold) - Please contact the Registration Office.
- SE (Security hold) - Please contact the Security Office at your campus.
- TF (Assessment Hold) - Please see the Assessment Centre at your campus.
- DS (Disability Services Hold) - Please contact Accessible Learning Services at your campus.
- DC, RV, SC (Admissions Holds) - Please contact the Admissions office.
The following holds are advisory and do not prevent registration or the issuing of official college documents.
- BA (Bad Address Hold) - You can update your address by logging into STU-VIEW or through the Contact Centre.
- NE (Not Eligible to Graduate Hold) - Please see your Academic Program Office.
